Basic English is an integrated skills class. It is a sixteen-hour class in which listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary are all taught by the same instructor. The skills are not always taught separately, but will often be mixed (integrated) together.
In this class, students will also learn the sounds of the English language and the different letters and groups of letters that represent these sounds. Students will use their knowledge of the sounds of English to read and write words and sentences and to improve their spelling of English words.it also contains three levels.
